Stroby , William R. (Bill), - 67, of Egg Harbor Township passed away peacefully on February 24, 2017 with loved ones by his side after a lengthy illness. Bill was born in Neptune, NJ and raised in Long Branch, NJ. He was retired from The New Jersey Air National Guard 177th Fighter Wing. He then owned and operated NBS Maintenance Service for many years. He was most recently employed with Spirit Airlines until his illness prevented him from working. He enjoyed classic cars, airplanes and his gin and tonics. He is predeceased by his parents, William and Inez Stroby. Bill is survived by his sons, Billy (Jennifer), Doug (Samantha); grandsons, Billy, Nicholas, Douglas and Bradley; sister Cecilia Coutu and brothers, Lee and Wallace Stroby. He is also survived by companion Dee Anderson and many nieces, nephews and cousins including Kathy Ricci and Lorraine Ciambrone who were dear to his heart. Relatives and friends are invited to attend Bill's Life Celebration and viewing on Wednesday March 1, 2017 from 10 to 12noon at Jeffries and Keates Funeral Home, Tilton Road and Infield Ave, Northfield . Funeral Service will follow at Noon. Interment will be private. ln lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Bill's memory to Naval Air Station Wildwood Aviation Museum, 500 Forrestal Rd.
